Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited has opened a new Wealth Management Centre at One International Finance Centre (One IFC) in Central, marking its sixth such facility in the city.
The latest centre follows earlier openings at Exchange Square in Central, K11 Atelier in Tsim Sha Tsui, Lee Garden in Causeway Bay, Pacific Place in Admiralty, and One Peking in Tsim Sha Tsui. With this addition, the bank continues to deepen its footprint in Hong Kong’s affluent banking market, reflecting a continued focus on clients with cross-border and international financial needs.
Mary Huen, CEO, Hong Kong and Greater China & North Asia, Standard Chartered, said Hong Kong remains a core market for the group’s wealth management strategy. She noted that the bank aims to serve affluent clients through its international network and a wide range of wealth solutions. Huen added that the Wealth and Retail Banking business in Hong Kong recorded solid growth in the first three quarters of last year, and the opening of the sixth centre aligns with the bank’s strategic direction to focus on affluent and cross-border clients.

Moreover, Stephen Man, Head of Wealth and Retail Banking, Standard Chartered Hong Kong, said demand for wealth management services among affluent clients continues to rise. He described the new One IFC site as the bank’s second Wealth Management Centre in Central and part of its effort to build a one-stop location for cross-border banking and wealth services. Man added that the bank plans to roll out more tailored solutions for legacy planning and wealth accumulation, while strengthening its digital capabilities to serve clients at different stages of their wealth journey.
The One IFC Wealth Management Centre spans 10,000 square feet and is located in the heart of Central, close to premium hotels, the Airport Express, and high-end shopping malls. The centre features waterfront views of Victoria Harbour and includes 14 private meeting rooms, two of which are designed for clients visiting with children.
Exclusive services at the new centre include an in-house tea master and chauffeured limousine services for time-pressed clients. All Relationship Managers at the One IFC site have native-level proficiency in Mandarin and are fluent in Cantonese and English, enabling them to serve clients from different regions with cross-border banking needs and international wealth management requirements.
