Robinhood Markets has announced a multi-year partnership with French Ligue 1 football club OGC Nice, becoming the club’s principal sponsor starting from the 2025/26 season.

The deal will see Robinhood take over front-of-shirt sponsorship rights across both men’s and women’s first teams for domestic and European competitions. The agreement marks Robinhood’s first major foray into European football, as the fintech firm accelerates its expansion strategy across the EU.

So, coming off a successful 2024/25 season with a 4th place finish in Ligue 1, OGC Nice will now align itself with one of the most recognizable fintech brands in the United States. The partnership also coincides with Robinhood’s recent rollout of new EU-targeted products, including US stock and ETF tokens and perpetual futures, aimed at redefining investing for European customers.

Also, beyond traditional branding, the collaboration features a fully integrated activation strategy, including:

  • Robinhood branding on training and warm-up kits
  • High-visibility presence across the stadium and digital assets
  • Creation of original branded content, including a dedicated web series
  • Joint fan engagement campaigns centered around financial empowerment
