Robinhood has shared two new AI-focused products, Agentic Trading and the Agentic Credit Card, as the company moves deeper into automated finance tools designed for retail users.

The new offerings allow artificial intelligence agents to trade stocks and make purchases on behalf of customers through Robinhood’s ecosystem. According to the company, users can build customized AI agents to execute investment strategies, monitor prices, and complete transactions automatically without relying on unofficial integrations or third-party workarounds.

“Our mission has always been to democratize finance for all, and now, that mission extends to AI agents,” said Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood.

The Agentic Trading feature introduces dedicated trading accounts that operate separately from a user’s main portfolio. Robinhood said this structure is going to create additional safeguards by limiting agents to only the funds allocated to the account. Users will receive push notifications whenever trades are executed and can monitor activity, profit and loss, and account actions directly through the Robinhood app. Trading access can also have instant pauses.

At launch, Agentic Trading supports equities only, though Robinhood confirmed that support for options, cryptocurrencies, futures, and event contracts is in future updates as the beta expands.

The company also introduced the Agentic Credit Card, which connects AI agents to Robinhood Banking’s MCP server through a dedicated virtual Robinhood Gold Card. Users can assign spending limits, decide whether purchases require manual approval, and restrict agent access solely to the virtual card rather than primary banking credentials.

Robinhood said the system enables agents to search for deals, monitor pricing changes, and automatically complete purchases based on user instructions while still earning 3% cash back rewards.

The Agentic Credit Card is currently available to existing Robinhood Gold Card customers, while support for the upcoming Robinhood Platinum Card is going to be available later this year.

The announcement reflects the growing push across the fintech sector to integrate generative AI and autonomous agents into consumer finance products. Robinhood indicated that more AI-powered tools for everyday investors are going in the coming months as the company continues expanding its automated trading and spending ecosystem.
