OANDA Japan Adjusts TRY Trading Hours Amid Market Volatility
According to the official statement, the change has been implemented due to the continued market uncertainty surrounding the Turkish Lira (TRY). OANDA Japan noted that the TRY has been subject to unstable liquidity conditions. This is especially during early Asian trading hours, which can lead to erratic price movements and a lack of reliable price distribution.
By shifting the trading window to European market hours, the firm aims to ensure a more stable and liquid trading environment for its clients. These are the hours when liquidity in TRY markets is typically higher, offering better execution conditions and price stability.
OANDA Japan emphasized that the decision was made in the interest of maintaining transparency and trading fairness, particularly for retail forex traders.
The brokerage has also assured its clients that it will continue monitoring market conditions and make further adjustments if needed. Any future changes or important updates will be communicated promptly.
Clients trading in TRY pairs are advised to adjust their strategies and schedules accordingly to align with the new trading hours.
