Clearstream and Blackstone Announce Partnership to Expand

Clearstream has announced a new partnership with Blackstone that will bring the alternative asset manager’s private market investment strategies onto Clearstream’s global distribution platform. The move is ready to make it easier for individual investors to access private market products through the same infrastructure used by leading wealth managers around the world.

Under the agreement, Blackstone funds will be available through Clearstream’s secure and automated platform, allowing wealth managers and their clients to access private market strategies in a more streamlined way. Clearstream’s network currently includes more than 300 distribution partners, among them large international wealth managers with strong footprints in Europe and Asia, giving Blackstone a broad reach into the private wealth segment.

Blackstone manages more than USD 1.2 trillion in assets and brings a four-decade history in alternative investments. Over the past 20 years, the firm has also built a private wealth business that offers individual investors exposure to private equity, real estate, private credit, and infrastructure, areas that were traditionally limited to institutional investors.

The partnership aligns with Clearstream’s wider effort to act as a central gateway for private market investing. By working with major General Partners such as Blackstone, the firm aims to remove many of the operational and administrative hurdles that have historically made private funds difficult to distribute at scale. This allows wealth managers to focus more on client relationships while relying on a single platform for processing and oversight.

Rashmi Madan, Head of EMEA for Blackstone Private Wealth, said the firm’s goal is to widen access to institutional-quality investments for individuals, adding that working with Clearstream strengthens Blackstone’s ability to reach more investors across regions.

Philippe Seyll, CEO of Clearstream Fund Services, noted that the partnership reflects a shared vision of expanding access to alternative investments. He added that Clearstream’s digital infrastructure and global network will support Blackstone’s growth in the private wealth channel.

Clearstream supports this initiative with end-to-end services for private markets, including order routing, settlement, custody, and asset servicing. Through its Vestima platform and regulatory-ready framework, the company continues to simplify private fund distribution for asset managers and wealth firms alike.
